Evey religious place is having its own traditions and there is always a scope to rethink on these traditions

Similarly, it is also necessary that we don't become adamant. This issue is not a very big one

I have never done anything wrong. Can the clouds ever eclipse the sun? They will ultimately scatter and the truth will prevail.

The first thing is that I don't pay any attention to newspaper reports. I don't have the time for it.

If people come and strike deals outside my ashram, how am I supposed to know, or have anything to do with them?

I'm a follower of spiritualism and I believe in god. I believe in spreading Hindu culture. That's my only duty, my religion.

Sanjay was a very good pilot, but I told him not to try and display too much artistry.

I was a youth in Andhra Pradesh and Mr. Rao comes from Andhra Pradesh. That's why we've known each other for 25 years. That's all there is to it.

I have good relations with Rajiv also. There is no change in that after he became prime minister.

Earlier I used to go to the prime minister's residence only when I was summoned. I am not like other politicians who hang around there. It is not a yogic character to call on the politicians just for nothing.

This is my style. If you don’t like it, don’t follow me.

Radhe Maa

I am not god. I have been created by the same God as you. I am Radhe Maa — rah dikhane wali maa (Mother who shows the way), a sevika of God, and you are all my children.

Radhe Maa

I got married at a very young age; I was 17 when my parents wanted me to settle down. After 2 and half years, my husband left me and our two sons, and went abroad. To fend for my sons and in-laws, I started stitching clothes for a living. It came to me naturally, and I never had to learn it from anyone. I also taught other women in my village to stitch, so they could earn a livelihood as well. Since childhood, I had always loved music; every time I heard music, I felt like I was in a trance. I would get lost in the music and my in-laws noticed this and felt that I had some kind of power in me. They took me to my guru, who took me under his wing and christened me Radhe Maa when he saw that I had divine powers within me. That is how I got the name.
