This four-member panel must implement the reforms that we suggested and the court accepted. I don’t think there will be much difficulty. Of course, it’s a challenging task, but under the watchful eyes of the Supreme Court, the COA would be able to do it.

As a lawyer I have often come across Rafiya Begums and other wretched souls like her – hapless, dejected and broken as they fail time and again in protecting even their most basic rights.

First of all, let me reiterate that the blasphemy cases in Pakistan are obviously a phenomenon that has captured global attention. That is understandable as it’s a rather unique situation, because blasphemy laws have more or less withered away in most other jurisdictions.

An individual is never greater than a nation, Nana. But Gandhi has started considering himself greater than the nation.

A Satyagrahi can never fail' was his formula for declaring his own infallibility and nobody except himself knew what a Satyagrahi is. Thus, the Mahatma became the judge and jury in his own cause.

My confidence about the moral side of my action has not been shaken even by the criticism levelled against it on all sides.
